Where do we want to go?

Gianvito wakes up in Rome. After a breakfast at the bar with Paolo Manfredi he decides to leave and heads north in his electric car. He arrives in Maremma and visit Argentario. From Porto Santo Stefano then he enters the countryside of lower Tuscany, until he reaches the thermal baths of the Saturnia mill.

Gianvito leaves from Saturnia and arrives in Viterbo passing through Lake Bolsena, where he meets some ladies dedicated to making fishing nets. In Viterbo he meets the comedian Fulvio Venanzini. The journey by electric car ends in Orvieto, in a particular shop owned by the "Wizard of Oz".

The journey takes Gianvito to Perugia, an ancient and modern city at the same time. Here he discovers a newsstand selling selected publications, and a cinema reopened again after years of inactivity. Then he arrives in L'Aquila, a city under reconstruction, where he meets a science professor who works for the inclusion of girls in scientific faculties.

Gianvito arrives in Pescara where he meets Umberto Palazzo, who talks about why one can choose to leave Bologna to return to Abruzzo. In Vasto he visits a shop selling very particular t-shirts, and continuing southwards he arrives in San Salvo Marina, in Abruzzo, where he finds himself walking along an ancient road used for transhumance.

After waking up in Termoli and having a breakfast in nature, Gianvito arrives in Andria and visits a historic confectionery. But it is also an opportunity to meet up again and have lunch with old friends from a very active social cooperative in the city. In the evening he arrives in Bari, where he meets Stella and Ilaria, two girls who have just opened a quality oriental restaurant.

Gianvito goes to Alberobello to meet an owners of a trullo, and is told the origins of these unique buildings. But first he stopped by to taste one of the most famous sandwiches in the area, which is made in a small historic supermarket. The journey ends in Lecce, with a visit to the Basilica of Santa Croce.
